This choreography based class meets one Saturday a month and invites participants to explore movement through contemporary and lyrical combinations. Students will move through a standard warm up, across the floor, and a breakdown of choreography. New choreography will be taught each month. The concept of this class is to encourage students to push out of their comfort zone and find new ways to connect with their bodies through movement. This class offers space to lean into self expression and improvisation. All movement levels are welcome. Students are encouraged to dance barefoot or in socks, have knee pads available, and wear layers.
Ginny is a career dancer who has specialized in styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Hip- Hop. She received her B.S. in Dance and M.S. in Movement and Leisure Sciences and is a NASM certified personal trainer. She is also licensed in Barre Above, WERQ, GROOV3, and Zumba.
Ginny is passionate about helping others find success and confidence in movement. Her health and wellness philosophy encompasses injury prevention, active recovery, and functional training for all fitness levels.
