"Low & Slow" ~ A movement exploration inspired by the sensual world of pole dance.

Embrace your sensuality and strength as you slide into the sultry, sexy, and powerful world of Pole Dance!  

This is a beginner friendly choreography workshop focused on floorwork, sensual movement, empowerment, and exploration. Inspired by her work as a pole instructor and performer, Morgan will show you a peek behind the curtain into her world of mood lighting, captivating poses, and slinky choreography to give you a taste of just what it takes to slow down, enjoy yourself, and tap into your inner baddie!

Class includes an intro/icebreaker, a brief history of pole dance/ stripping, a warm up and stretch, a floorwork choreography combo, specific breakdowns and options for each move and basic concepts behind sensual movement, and “performance” time to put it all together and dance it out to 2-3 specially chosen songs.

Knee pads or other knee protection highly encouraged! Leg warmers, long socks, leggings or sweats are also great options. The more you are able to slide along the floor, the better! Feel free to bring or wear anything that is fun or sexy to you as long as you can move freely and all nips and bits are covered. This is a great time to play with layers as well;)

About the instructor: Morgan started dancing at a young age, trying every style out there and performing whenever possible too. In 2020, she moved to the Seattle area and began her search for a new dance home. In 2021, after trying multiple styles and studios, she remembered seeing videos of pole dancers and being inspired. She started her search for her first pole class and discovered her passion for pole dancing at Mora Pole and Aerial. That first class turned into many classes taken as well as many taught as she was encouraged to become an instructor at Mora! She loves the freedom, creativity, strength, and beauty that pole brings to her life and is excited to share that with the community at SDF!
