SDF ROOTS Friday Dance Fitness Party!
with SDF TEAM!

Join us at the studio Friday January 24th as we take it back “old school” an “SDF Roots” Friday Night Dance Party!

Seattle Dance Fitness found its “roots”back in 2017 when SDF founder, Jess Gleason, would rent studio space at a little juice bar/yoga studio in Shoreline. (Alive Juice Bar) At the time Jessica’s main gig was teaching Zumba next door to the Juice Bar at 24 Hour Fitness. She asked her friends/students if they’d be interested in showing up for a 75 minute Dance Fitness class on a Friday Night for 5 bucks each. The combination of a group of mostly moms needing to shake off the stress of #momlife, a dimly lit dance floor, and a NO F’s given attitude led by Jess and adopted by the women at the first parties quickly led to the parties needing to take place monthly and then weekly and then well . . .the rest is history!

The theme of “SDF Roots” parties will be. . . .NO THEME! Just like we did back then we will show up in workout clothes and DANCE OUR FACES OFF to a KICKASS playlist for a soul filling 75 minutes! 💃🕺🏽

Here’s a little retro copy to describe what to expect: 

“At our Friday Night Dance Parties students will follow along to original dance fitness choreography featuring pop/hip hop/dancehall and Top 40 hits. Similar to Zumba but less “cha cha cha” and more DROP IT LIKE ITS HOT! This party is high energy and will help you burn between 400-1000 calories and leave you feeling sassy, happy, confident, and empowered! The SDF crew welcomes everyone and anyone! Join us!”
